Mexico: Fishing Village Of Majahual

Costa Maya, Mexico was our last cruise destination. We were supposed to go see Chacchoben Mayan ruins, but I was already too sick to go on another hike. Kepi and I decided to spend our time at the beach of Majahual. The one thing I like about Majahual is that it wasn’t crowded and there were no noisy party goers on the beach.

Loving my flip flops in Costa Maya.
The is the beach at Costa Maya, but we opted to go to Majahual.
At Majahual, a boat is getting ready to head out to sea.
I enjoyed walking on the sand barefoot and observing what people were doing at the beach.
I love that there weren’t many people at the beach that day. It’s almost inviting to say, “It’s a good day to be sick at the beach.”
Our spot at Majahual beach.
Now order some Margarita and imagine yourself here.

I am quite feeling the winter blues and I could use some sand and beach right now.

  1. Looking at your photos has made me long for the sunshine. I would love to be sitting there now on one of those loungers, sipping a cool drink, looking out to sea. Ahhhh if only!

  2. Beautiful place! The water looks incredible. I am sure this place is better in several ways than the Riviera Maya. I am not that fond of Cancun but this place looks like my kind of place.

Thank you for visiting. I would love to hear from you and will reply as soon as I can.
